Patricia Evangeline (Pappas Scholtec) Kron died peacefully among family members on April 27, 2019 at the age of 92. Patt had been suffering from a long term illness for fifteen years.  Patt (with two “t's”) was born December 22, 1926 in Hibbing, Minnesota and resided in Robbinsdale and Plymouth, Minnesota. Patt later retired to Delray Beach, Florida. Patt had a lively personality and enjoyed socializing with family and friends.  She was employed at Golden Valley Country Club for many years as a professional server until retirement.  In retirement Patt traveled with her husband Selmer and they were Snow Birds spending time in both Minnesota and Florida.  Patt will be missed by everyone who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Selmer Kron, parents, William and Claire (Sorenson) Pappas, her brother George Pappas (Barbara), her sister, Mary (Pappas) Meli.  She is survived by her sister Rose (Pappas) Amundson, her daughters Patty Miller and Senator Sandy Pappas (Neal Gosman), and son Kimothy Scholtec (Angela) Florida.  Granddaughters Kaira Miller and Kayla Miller of Robbinsdale.  Granddaughters  Mina Ruth (Merissa Gosman-Pappas) Haim, Leah Davida (Nicolea Gosman-Pappas) Shahar, Sara Chava (Cassarah Gosman-Pappas) Eitan – all residing in Tsfat, Israel and grandson Mathew Scholtec of Austin, Texas.  And twenty-six  great  grandchildren. 

A celebration of her life will be held at Robbinsdale United Church of Christ robbinsdaleucc.org August 31 with a private burial in Forbes, Minnesota.
